Wil discussed the different types of sales and mergers as well as the importance of confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements as part of any such transaction. Wil also detailed the need for creating a comprehensive due diligence plan as part of any sale or merger of a closely held company.
TRLF to Co-Host Free Seminar on New Data Security Law Compliance for Businesses
June 2, 2009 --- The Rogers Law firm and aNetworks of Hingham will present a free seminar for businesses on June 18 on the new Massachusetts Data Security Law. Mark C. Rogers, Esq. an attorney with The Rogers Law Firm, will detail the regulations and how they impact Massachusetts-based companies. He will discuss the compliance structure as well as outline the steps you will need to take to be in compliance with these new regulations. The new regulations, imposed by what is considered to be strictest data security law in the United States, go into effect on January 1, 2010. Because of the extent and complexity of the new requirements, many businesses are confused over what they need to do to comply.
